Per customer request, auduaReader now supports background paper images. The following are just samples to play with to get a feel for what makes good background paper. Personally it makes good sense for .txt files and special cases (see the greenbar) but for .html...
To download an image to your G1, long-click it and select Save image from the menu.
The following are designed for 24 high characters and .txt regular files. .html files with irregular line heights (e.g. headings) will mess up the alignment.

Here are a few random paper images to try out. None are particularly stellar but you'll find millions of textures on the web if you care. Note the G1 has a serious bluish cast so if you're looking at these on a PC/MAC these colors won't match what you see on-screen.
